Automating payments to your employees and the IRD

To get the best from Smartly, we recommend using our fully automated service – which basically means all your payments to staff and IRD are automatic! Too easy!

To get this service set up for you, we will need you to complete a few authorisation forms.

Below is a list of authorisation forms and the processing time it will take: 

IR920 - 2-3 business days 

Datacom Terms and Conditions - 2-3 business days 

Direct Debit Authority - 2-3 business days 

Authority to Act - 2-3 business days

Bank Authorisation form - the processing timeframe will depend on who you bank with: 

  • ANZ: 5-7 working days
  • BNZ: 5-7 working days
  • Westpac: 5-7 working days 
  • ASB: 10-15 working days 

Note: no Bank Authorisation form is needed for PayEarly customers.
