Setting up your managers portal
Getting access
Your managers portal is found at https://login.smartly.co.nz, and you can log in with the same username and password that you use for your Smartly app.
If you're a team leader or a manager with direct reports and you don't have access to the managers portal, please speak with your payroll administrator to gain access.

App vs browser - how it works
What you can do on the mobile app and on the browser as a manager are quite different.
Mobile app
Under the managers view on the mobile app, you will be able to do the following tasks.
- View submitted leave by employees and approve or decline. You will be able to see projected leave balances for staff that apply for leave.
- View submitted timesheets by employees and approve or decline.
Browser
If you log in to the managers portal, you will be able to do the following tasks.
- View submitted leave by employees and approve or decline. If you want to make changes to the leave item, you can edit them before approving.
- You can add leave items for employees on their behalf. You will be able to see projected leave balances for staff that apply for leave.
- View submitted timesheets by employees and approve or decline. You can make changes to approved timesheets under the Approved tab on the managers portal.
- You can add timesheets for employees on their behalf.
Supported versions for the Smartly app
Apple
To use the Smartly mobile app you will need iOS version 12.0 or higher.
Android
To use the Smartly mobile app you will need Android version 8.0 or higher.
