Smartly's run a pay and home interface

Browser release notes

December

Auto adjust sick leave calculations: Employees on standard hours will now notice their sick leave hours and days automatically adjust when editing.

  1. You'll notice a new checkbox when entering sick leave in the app or under the leave calendar or leave request section in the browser.

November

Payroll comparison report: It’s now easier than ever to check for key differences between your selected pay run to its previous pay run with our payroll comparison report.

  1. The report can be generated from three different places: Check payroll, report generator and closed pay run report.
  2. The report can be set up to run automatically with your check payroll or closed pay run report.

Bulk labour costing: Gone are the days of going into each employee’s costing screen to add their departments.

  1. You can now add departments to multiple staff at once, all from the ‘departments/jobs’ screen under the company details section.

September

Mobile app: Managers and employees now have greater ease and control over timesheets and leave management through the mobile app.

  1. Managers can add and edit timesheet entries and leave requests through the app; and employees can fill out their fast timesheets faster with the new ‘Copy Week’ button and prefilled hours.

August

Timesheet import:  Timesheet imports are now compatible with Smartly’s leave management features, so your clients can still use the app to request and approve leave even if they use another product to record their hours.

  1. We’ve added a new option to the timesheet import pop up. All your clients need to do is choose if they'd prefer to use the leave entered in Smartly. You can choose to save this setting by ticking on ‘Always use this setting’.
